Daniella K. Monet (b. Daniella Monet Zuvic on March 1, 1989) is an American actress, singer, and dancer. She played Rebecca Martin in Zoey 101, Trina Vega in Victorious, and a popular girl in iCarly episode, "iPsycho."

Personal life Edit

Monet was born Daniella Monet Zuvic in West Hills, California. Monet is a vegan and supports animal welfare causes. She posed for a PETA campaign that encourages students to refuse to dissect animals in the classroom. She has performed on the small screen in numerous television commercials beginning at the age of 8. In 1997, she had a guest appearance in an episode of Pacific Blue. She said, "I always knew I wanted to act," in an interview with Seventeen. Monet is of Croatian and French heritage.

Acting career Edit

2003–2009: Early career Edit

In 2003, she landed recurring roles on the television series American Dreams, The Bernie Mac Show. Monet landed a recurring role on the television series 8 Simple Rules as Missy Keinfield, Rory's love interest in the second season. She has a sister, Sissy (Elena Lyons), who likes CJ. She was eventually cast as Megan Kleinman on the short-lived CBS sitcom Listen Up! where she starred alongside Jason Alexander. She also guest-starred on Zoey 101 appearing in three episodes from 2006 to 2007. She also appeared in the 2006 film Simon Says and in the 2007 films Nancy Drew and Taking 5.

2010–2013: Victorious, Fred films and The Fairly OddParents spin-off films Edit

From 2010 to 2013, Monet starred in the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious as Trina Vega, the older sister of Tori Vega who attends Hollywood Arts with her, but has no talent and is described as "weird" and "annoying".

She also replaced Jennette McCurdy as the character Bertha in Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred, Fred 3: Camp Fred and Fred: The Show. Based on The Fairly OddParents cartoon series, she starred as Tootie opposite Drake Bell's Timmy Turner in 2011's A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!, and reprised her role in 2012's A Fairly Odd Christmas.

2013–present: AwesomenessTV Edit

Monet hosts a Nickelodeon show called AwesomenessTV that premiered July 1, 2013. It is transplanted from YouTube clips adding new material. Segments include character sketches, celebrity satires, and parody music videos.
